Rant

I especially have to rant about this reason: http://whatculture.com/film/10-reasons-frozen-definitely-disneys-best-animated-movie-decade.php/3

Elsa is very relatable to people, that's why she's liked by so many! Elsa is NOT a (I'm quoting the article here BTW) "bitch." Elsa She's a very different Disney princess... I mean, Queen! Anna is clumsy, not perfect, and also relatable to some people, that's why she's liked! Rapunzel's... perfect. Rapunzel's a typical Disney Princess.

Now, onto this one: http://whatculture.com/film/10-reasons-frozen-definitely-disneys-best-animated-movie-decade.php/4

Frozen is NOT all up in your face! It teaches us that family is more important then men.

Now, onto this one: http://whatculture.com/film/10-reasons-frozen-definitely-disneys-best-animated-movie-decade.php/5

You CAN'T marry a man you just met! You need to spend time with them, get to know them! This is actually a good change in Disney!

Now, this one gets me MAD: http://whatculture.com/film/10-reasons-frozen-definitely-disneys-best-animated-movie-decade.php/6

Hans is a great villain. You know it's a good villain when people HATE THAT PERSON'S GUTS.

Another one: http://whatculture.com/film/10-reasons-frozen-definitely-disneys-best-animated-movie-decade.php/7

Hello? Tangled was made in 2010. The animation in Frozen is much better because CGI has developed.

Irks the life outta me: http://whatculture.com/film/10-reasons-frozen-definitely-disneys-best-animated-movie-decade.php/8

I'm not even gonna comment.

-.- : http://whatculture.com/film/10-reasons-frozen-definitely-disneys-best-animated-movie-decade.php/9

Is the music in Tangled memorable? No. "Love is An Open Door" is supposed to be goofy. I mean, Anna and Hans sang the song, it's gonna be a bit goofy and really GROOVY!

Just... NO: http://whatculture.com/film/10-reasons-frozen-definitely-disneys-best-animated-movie-decade.php/10

Elsa is not a "bitch!" She has social anxiety and depression, people who have that tend to want to be alone. I should know, because I have that! She LOVES Anna and just wanted to protect her, even if it meant hiding away and ignoring her. If I were Elsa, I would have done that too. She was stressed and scared when Anna came, which is why she froze her heart. She's a great role model for kids, teaching them to be who they are no matter what.

Sorry if I just wasted your time. I'm just so angry about this article.

I agree with you! Especially on the part about Rapunzel, Anna, and the two parts on Elsa.

(@ROTG) It's interesting how people can't understand the story, songs, and characters. I mean, you're thirteen, and you understood EVERYTHING perfectly!

IKR?! Anyway, I've read another article today that has stated:

"Remember, that in today's liberal society allowing almost anything, even legalizing it, in the name of "love" trumps sin - it's that powerful of an ideology. And that my friends, is exactly what Disney is selling your children, while you unknowingly standby and watch."

Um? Hi! Yeah... the love in Disney never leads to sin (unless you're counting "Hellfire")!

Anyway, here's another statement I don't agree with:

"'Elsa has a great power that she has been taught by her parents from the time she was a child, is not publicly acceptable and that she must fear its expression, at all cost, thus hide it from people, even her own sister who could be hurt by it - even killed. Shame is at the core of Elsa's feelings about her magical powers: same-sex attraction."

Same WHAT?! WTHANS!? Not even gonna comment about THAT one.

"The words to "Let it Go" are clearly not Christian-values friendly, by any stretch of the imagination, when understood and heard. This is not an innocent song, with a catchy tune. It is rebellious. It mocks moral absolutes. It is careless. It is unaccountable. It is anti-obedience. It is regardless. It is selfish. And if you still disagree, then by all means, feel free to show me how I've misinterpreted the lyrics.' "

Seriously? If it's not "Christain-values friendly," then why are even priests singing it? Why are even the most religious families in the world singing it? Didn't think about that, did ya?

It is NOT selfish! Yes, I WILL show you how you misinterpreted the lyrics. In fact, I will do so gladly. "Let it Go" is about self-acceptance. It's about letting go of whatever's holding you back. This song helps people, it helped me. "Let it Go" is what keeps me from crying whenever I'm sad (AKA having anxiety problems/attacks).

It doesn't even matter now if someone starts a fight about this, because you know what? Let it go.
